Eastern Heroes started back in 1988 as a Fanzine offering news and updates on all Asian Martial Arts stars. In 1989 when I partnered up with Toby Russell the company flourished into the No. 1 source for Martial Arts Cinema.
Since then we have published books, organized over 70 events and brought many stars over to the UK including Donnie Yen, Jet Li, Maggie Cheung, Chow Yun Fatt, Gordon Lui, John Woo and more recently Hwang Jung lee.
After an absence of ten years Eastern Heroes recently regrouped and launched a new issue of ‘Eastern Heroes Magazine’ which debuted in November 2014 at London’s O2 Seni Arena attended by Hwang Jung lee & Scott Adkins.
2015 looks to be a great year for Eastern Heroes as we launch our new online shop, Kungfu-Bay.com, and prepare to organize more events including a special day in London
to mark Bruce Lee’s 75th Birthday.
To keep this site unique we are creating a range of very limited exclusive merchandise in co-operation with the talented Steve Kerridge, already regarded as the world’s leading historian on Bruce Lee, and Hong Kong Movie expert Toby Russell who will also contribute merchandise to this growing shop.
Future plans for Kungfu-Bay.com include offering a marketplace to the general public who might want to sell some of their own memorabilia that they’ve collected over the years. We will also offer ticket sales to our upcoming events and facilitate social gateways
for fans of the Martial Arts genre to connect with each other and build a community with fellow fans around the globe.
Most of all, I would like to thank you for your support and I hope you regularly check this site out as I will be constantly updating new products and future events.
Keep the faith,
Rick Baker
